For Baz Luhrmann's Elvis Presley biopic spectacular, we worked with RCA records to create an interactive vinyl player where fans could discover the movie's official sound track in an authentic period 50's Beale Street record store.
Our approach
Using WebGL, we created an interactive 3D scene inside the Beale Street record store with a fully functioning RCA record player. Users could drop the pin on the record player to choose and hear a sample of all 37 tracks, encouraging them to pre-order the album that included collaborations and covers from artists such as Doja Cat and Tame Impala.
The results
Our partnership with RCA Records enabled us to create an engaging, unforgettable moment for the release of the film's epic soundtrack, all whilst immersing users in 1950s America. An experience that had Elvis fans engaged for an average of 4 minutes.
